United Arab Emirates has joined Tır Agreement in the recent history, in this way within the scope of the Tır Carnet, it was possible to carry out transports to end from UAE. Within the scope of Tır Carnet, the first transportation from UAE to Turkey has occurred. The transportation in question has the quality of intermodal transportation since there is also a seaway stage passing over the Persian Gulf. The vehicle departed from Ras al Khaima in the UAE, passed on Iran, entered our country through the Gürbulak border gate and reached its destination which is Iskenderun.

This route traveled has lots of benefits in terms of time and cost. It will reduce delivery time from 8 to 6 days compared to the sea voyages that take 21 days on average from the Gulf region to our country, and it will also avoid the problem that cost increase and delay in delivery caused by the container limitation experienced around the world.

Thinking of the UAE and our trade has 9.500.000.000 Dolar volume in last 5 years, this improvement contribute developing intermodal transportation in the export and import actions.
