Defense Industry Feasibility Workshop was organized by KTSO in order to facilitate and provide guidance to firms in Kırıkkale Weapons Organized Industrial Zone. During the workshop, participants were informed about the multi-partnered high-capital defense industry firm to be established under the umbrella of KTSO.

Firms which located to be the first in Turkey Kırıkkale Specialized Weapons Organized Industrial Site were  provided guidance on issues such as needs analysis and for convenience, production and R & D prepared by Kirikkale TSO within the framework of the Defense Industry Feasibility Project. The workshop was held at the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry and informed the participants about the project to be financed by the Ahiler Development Agency. Speaking at the workshop chaired by the President of the Assembly, Mr. Omer Akçelik, Ahmet Varlı talked about the project of establishing a high-budget defense industry firm that will lead the investors to the region.

Mr. Varlı stated that the aim of the company to be established will be to produce high-tech materials that will contribute to the larger works of the company without competing with the firms that are in the Arms OSB and the company which will be the umbrella organization Kırıkkale TSO will have a multi-partnered structure. In the workshop where the ideas of the participants were taken, Hayri Tanriverdi, Sector Analysis and Project Development expert made a presentation about the project.
