In a collaborative effort by our Chamber, Ahiler Development Agency, and the Weapons Specialization Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), companies operating in the defense industry in Kırıkkale came together with leading sector organizations at the Defense Industry Supplier Meeting.

Held under the auspices of the Kırıkkale Governorship at the MKE Social Facilities, the meeting’s opening speech was delivered by our Chairman, Ahmet Varlı. Varlı emphasized that Kırıkkale has historically been a city rooted in the defense industry and noted that recent private sector investments are helping the city regain its ambitious position in the sector. He stated, “We organized this meeting to enable local companies to collaborate with main contractor firms and to increase their production capacities as subcontractors,” adding that he expects positive outcomes from the one-on-one meetings.

During the meeting, local firms had the opportunity to hold direct discussions with leading defense organizations, including the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), as well as MKE AŞ, Roketsan, Aselsan, Havelsan, TUSAŞ, STM, and SYS. Participating companies shared their production capacities and capabilities with these major players. This meeting marks the first step toward enabling local defense firms to collaborate with internationally operating companies. We hope that the Kırıkkale Defense Industry Supplier Meeting and its outcomes will bring lasting benefits to our city.
