CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

In collaboration with the Provincial Directorate of Commerce, our Chamber organized an informational meeting to celebrate the 2025 International Year of Cooperatives (IYC). The meeting was attended by Uğur Atar, Director of the Kırıkkale Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization, Deputy Director Erdal Koçak, and General Secretaries of professional chambers operating in the province. Opening remarks were made by Mehmet Demir, Kırıkkale Provincial Director of Commerce, and Ahmet Varlı, Chairman of the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Participants received detailed information on the concept and importance of cooperatives, the state of cooperatives globally and in Turkey, cooperative legislation, inspiring cooperative examples, and available cooperative support programs.

The chairman of our registered Chamber cooperative, Seher Kılıç, representing the Limited Liability Kırıkkale Miracle Women Initiative Production and Business Cooperative, shared her organization’s journey, projects, and best practice examples with the participants.
