The 1st Joint Professional Committee Meeting of 2025 of the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KTSO) was held with the participation of members from 13 professional committees. The meeting took place in accordance with Article 26 of the Chamber’s Procedures, which mandates that joint professional committee meetings be held twice a year, in March and September.

The meeting agenda included the following three main topics:

  1. Agriculture-Based Livestock Specialized Organized Industrial Zone in Kevenli Village, Keskin District
Work has begun to establish an Agriculture-Based Livestock Specialized Organized Industrial Zone covering approximately 1,446 decares in Kevenli Village. As part of these efforts, a 15-member entrepreneur committee must be formed in accordance with the TDİOSB regulations. Two representatives of our Chamber were appointed by the Assembly and Board of Directors: Chairman Ahmet Varlı and Assembly Member Hasan Taşoğlu.
  2. Skilled Workforce Training and Cooperation with İŞKUR
Under the cooperation protocol signed between İŞKUR and TOBB, vocational training programs combining theoretical and practical education will be organized in partnership with the public and private sectors to train skilled labor for the job market. Key points shared with participants include:
    • Employers with workforce needs can have personnel trained during theoretical and practical courses, with costs covered by İŞKUR. Registration at the provincial İŞKUR office and submission of a demand form to the Chamber General Secretariat are sufficient to participate.
    • Courses can be launched if there is demand from at least five participants in a profession. The number of trainees supported depends on the size of the employer: 1–4 employees = number of employees, 10–49 employees = 24 trainees, 50+ employees = up to 50% of insured employees.
    • Courses can last up to 160 actual days, with daily instruction between 5–8 hours and weekly instruction not exceeding 6 days, totaling 30–45 hours per week.
    • Participants in professions granting a Vocational Qualification Certificate receive an MYK certificate; in other professions, they receive a certificate approved by the Ministry of Education or university.
    • Trainees are employed for at least twice the number of actual course days, with mandatory expense payments made based on attendance. Health, work accident, and occupational disease insurance premiums are covered by İŞKUR.
    • For example, under a 6-month NIYEP course, the employer cost for one worker is 183,726 TL, allowing employers to train qualified personnel without bearing training expenses.
  3. Ongoing CNC and Welding Courses at the Chamber’s Vocational Training Center
Information was provided that CNC turning and welding courses continue regularly at the Chamber’s Vocational Training Center, and trainee applications are accepted at the Chamber’s service building.
