Basic Expert Witness Training Conducted in Kırıkkale

In collaboration with the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry and TOBB ETÜ, a Basic Expert Witness Training program was recently held. The four-day training provided participants with both practical and theoretical knowledge. A total of 12 participants attended the sessions at the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry meeting hall.

Ahmet Varlı, Chairman of the TSO Board, stated that the training was organized in accordance with the “Expert Witness Regulation” prepared under Law No. 6754, which requires all individuals performing expert witness activities in judicial and administrative courts to complete Basic Expert Witness Training and obtain certification. Varlı thanked the participants and emphasized that individuals who have not completed this training will no longer be eligible to serve as expert witnesses. He highlighted that the training is designed for professionals with at least five years of experience and covers fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for conducting expert witness activities.

Chairman Varlı also noted that participants who complete the training will receive a certificate confirming their completion. Those who obtain this certificate, and meet other requirements stated in the expert witness announcements by the Judicial and Administrative Courts Commissions, will be eligible to apply to serve as expert witnesses.
